Aspiring Minds: Tell us something about yourself and your career goals.

Sohit: My name is Sohit Kumar Sahu, I have completed  B.tech in 2014 from  PIET, Rourkela (Odisha). I have many career goals but main goal is to establish myself in IT industry.

Aspiring Minds: What difficulties did you face while searching for a job and how did you overcame those difficulties?

Sohit:  After completing B.tech, I faced many problems to get the job. Its main reason is that I was an average student and I was not good in communication also. My college didn’t give a single opportunity. I decided to prepare hard to enter in IT industry. For two months, I prepared for Quantitative Aptitude, C language, Data Structure and English Section. I got an average percentile in AMCAT test, which was also a difficult situation for me. 

Aspiring Minds:  Tell us about your experience post giving the AMCAT test and how AMCAT helped you in getting the job at HCL Technologies?

Sohit:  By GOD’s grace, AMCAT gave me an opportunity for HCL off campus drive in Bangalore and I grabbed this opportunity through both hands. I got selected in HCL Technologies. Thank you AMCAT.

Aspiring Minds: Would you suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT? If yes, why

Sohit: Yes, I will suggest all job seekers to take AMCAT. AMCAT gives too many opportunities.

Aspiring Minds: Would you like to share some tips which can help other job seekers in getting a good job?

Sohit:  Hard work is the key to success.
