Aspiring Minds: Tell us something about yourself and your career goals.

Shreyas: My name is Shreyas S. Hiremath. I have completed B.Tech from K.L.E. College of Engineering and Technology.

Aspiring Minds: What difficulties did you face while searching for a job and how did you overcame those difficulties?

Shreyas: As a B.E. graduate, I always dream of being a software developer. But very few companies visited my college for campus placements. I did not get a chance to showcase my capabilities to the MNCs. So, I started preparing well for the AMCAT exam so that I could get good job opportunities in good Software companies.

Aspiring Minds: Tell us about your experience post giving the AMCAT test and how AMCAT helped you in getting the job at Aricent?

Shreyas: I had a good experience with AMCAT. AMCAT was able to test my aptitude and technical knowledge. The test contained standardized questions, which tests the complete knowledge of a graduate. I was happy that I scored well in the test. AMCAT  helped me to know my strengths and weaknesses in all the sections. I also got to know the areas where I need to improve myself. AMCAT gave me a chance to attend an interview with Aricent. I cleared the interview and got selected.

Aspiring Minds: Would you suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT? If yes, why

Shreyas: Yes, definitely. Because it gives a path to every jobseeker which leads to a better career with lot of job opportunities. AMCAT  let us know the areas where we need to improve to crack the interview. It also allows us to directly attend face to face interview round instead of attending the aptitude round in each and every company.

Aspiring Minds: Would you like to share some tips which can help other job seekers in getting a good job?

Shreyas: I would suggest all the job seekers to prepare well before attending the AMCAT test. Thorough your aptitude and technical knowledge. After taking AMCAT, you will have lot of job opportunities.
