Aspiring Minds: Tell us something about yourself and your career goals.
 
Amarjeet: First of all, I would like to thank AMCAT. I am Amarjeet and I have completed B.E from NCET, Bangalore in Computer Science. I wanted to be a member of the organization, where I can improve my skills, specially programming knowledge and I got that with the help of AMCAT.

Aspiring Minds: What difficulties did you face while searching for a job and how did you overcame those difficulties?
 
Amarjeet: At first, I used to apply for jobs through online portals but at the end of the day I never received any reply. Also, I often missed out on opportunities as I could not get information on any off-campus drives. Then I took AMCAT, got the opportunity to attend the interview and got selected in a very good company.
 
Aspiring Minds: Tell us about your experience post giving the AMCAT test and how AMCAT helped you in getting the job at Continuserve Softech?
 
Amarjeet: I took AMCAT in May 2013 and in June I got a call from AMCAT to attend the interview at ContinuServe and I cleared it.
 
Aspiring Minds: Would you suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT? If yes, why
 
Amarjeet: Yes, I would definitely suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT as it helps us to carve a career for ourselves in this competitive world.

Aspiring Minds: Would you like to share some tips which can help other job seekers in getting a good job?
 
Amarjeet: I am very happy with AMCAT and would recommend others to take the test. Following are the points which I would like to mention:

  1. Stick to the basics.
  2. Work hard on your technical skills.
  3. Have good communication skills because it serves as the main medium to transfer your knowledge.
  4. Never lose hope, believe in yourself.
