Aspiring Minds: Tell us something about yourself and your career goals.

Ankit: I am pursuing B.Tech from Northern India Engineering College in Information Technology. My career goals are to enhance my working capacities, professional skills and to serve my organization in best possible way with sheer determination and commitment. I aspire for a challenging position in a professional Organization where I can enhance my skills and strengthen them in conjunction with the Organization’s goals.

Aspiring Minds: What difficulties did you face while searching for a job and how did you overcame those difficulties?

Ankit: Mainly due to stringent placement policies of most of the colleges, a student is not allowed to participate in any on-campus placement drive after he/she gets placed in a company. This leads to lack of choice and the student is left with no other option but to settle down with the company he/she got placed into. My story was a replica of the same problem. AMCAT helped me to get out of this “SETTLE WITH WHAT YOU’VE GOT” problem. AMCAT opened up a whole new world of opportunities and it also helped me choose my desired profile which was development.

Aspiring Minds: Tell us about your experience post giving the AMCAT test and how AMCAT helped you in getting the job at OSS Cube Solutions?

Ankit: My post AMCAT experience was pretty satisfactory. AMCAT test already had “Automata C” as a separate section which was also the first stage in the selection process for OSS Cube Solutions. Therefore I already knew how to work on automated compilers and this helped me a lot. Other than this, the after test support is fabulous.

Aspiring Minds: Would you suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT? If yes, why

Ankit: Yes, as it provides a new dimension to our placement season and also provides enough opportunities to crack into.

Aspiring Minds: Would you like to share some tips which can help other job seekers in getting a good job?

Ankit: Possession of knowledge, confidence, self-belief and the ability to convey your thoughts with utmost precision always provide you an edge over others.
