Congratulations on getting your first job through AMCAT. How does it feel?
Jayeeta: I’m just amazed and too excited to get my first job! I was looking for a job from quite a time, and now I’ve got a job through Aspiring Minds, it’s like a dream come true.
How has been your job hunting experience?
Jayeeta: I must say that it’s not been an easy journey. I had posted my resume on several job portals thinking that I shall get calls. To my disappointment, I didn’t receive a call from a single company, until I appeared for AMCAT at my college. After 3 months of appearing for the test, I'd received a call for being shortlisted for Ensine Knowledge Systems.
Tell us about your interview experience.
Jayeeta: The selection procedure comprised of a written round and an interview. The written round was a technical one that tested our programming skills. The written round was followed by an interview, wherein I was asked about the project work - the technology used and how we implemented the project.
Do you have a message for job seekers – any strategy you would like to share with them?
Jayeeta: I believe a thorough understanding of the concepts is required. If you have the concepts right, no one can stop you get the job you’ve wished for!
