Aspiring Minds: Tell us something about yourself and your career goals.

Abinash: My name is Abinash and I am a B.Tech graduate. Presently I am working as a Software Engineer in a reputed private firm. My career goal is to maintain a good pace of learning new things, implementing them successfully in my work while developing new ideas to overcome difficulties.

Aspiring Minds: What difficulties did you face while searching for a job and how did you overcame those difficulties?

Abinash: The main difficulty I faced while searching a good job was to get a call from reputed companies. I am sure, even today freshers are facing this problem. There is a need of a platform where these problems should be addressed.

Aspiring Minds: Tell us about your experience post giving the AMCAT test and how AMCAT helped you in getting the job at HCL Technologies?

Abinash: Although I was sceptical at first in spending the money for taking AMCAT but I preferred taking it. Surely it came as a very good experience as I came to know about my various skills and even my personality traits. This helped me in cracking subsequent interview rounds and getting placed in HCL Technologies. I was one of the lucky ones who were shortlisted with the AMCAT scores and were invited directly to the Interview round for HCL. :) 

Aspiring Minds: Would you suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT? If yes, why
 

Abinash: Yes. I would advice all job seekers to prepare well and take AMCAT exam since it’s not only helps you in getting a job, but also helps you in getting a detailed report of your performances in the different sections of the exam. It is easy and hence, with a bit of preparation, you can get very good percentiles.It would be better for the job seekers that appear for AMCAT as soon as possible so that they can get adequate job opportunities.

Aspiring Minds: Would you like to share some tips which can help other job seekers in getting a good job?

Abinash: I would like to highlight some key points for job seekers. You should utilise your time in polishing the skills. Always stay motivated. Time management is very important.Remember, getting a job isn't as difficult as it seems. It just requires a hard work to brush up your skills which we already possess within ourselves.
