Aspiring Minds: Tell us something about yourself and your career goals.

Ashutosh: I am a simple easy going person, and like to savor each moment of life as it comes. A coder at heart I love to make new things that are more user centric. On the career front, I aim to witness my knowledge taking shape and be part of something that actually matters in the real world.

Aspiring Minds: What difficulties did you face while searching for a job and how did you overcame those difficulties?

Ashutosh: The best part of my placement is that I never had to face any major difficulties, it was a smooth ride all along and I owe it hugely to my decision of taking AMCAT.

Aspiring Minds: Tell us about your experience post giving the AMCAT test and how AMCAT helped you in getting the job at Josh Technology Group?

Ashutosh: Josh Technology Group was the first opportunity to come my way through AMCAT.  I believe, hadn’t I sat for AMCAT, I would not have been writing this testimonial. After being shortlisted for Josh Technology Group’s selection process on the basis of my AMCAT score, the prelims of the process included another AMCAT like online test, which was easy given my experience with AMCAT.

Aspiring Minds: Would you suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT? If yes, why

Ashutosh: I highly recommend it to all serious job aspirants. AMCAT is not just an exam it’s a great platform where you get answers to questions like “what companies are looking for?” or “What one should be focusing on to get a job?” or “What areas you should work on to make your chances brighter?”. Trust me, I suggest it to all of my juniors.

Aspiring Minds: Would you like to share some tips which can help other job seekers in getting a good job?

Ashutosh:I don’t believe I qualify to give tips to others but some small points to keep in mind that I learnt through my experience:

• Always be prepared, you just don’t know when an opportunity will come knocking at your door.
• Always be true to yourself, once you are honest and true to yourself, your resume will truly reflect you and your might in your field.
• Always remain humble and down to earth. One way to do this is by pushing yourself out of your comfort zone.
• There’s always room for improvement.
