Aspiring Minds: Tell us something about yourself and your career goals.
Komal: My name is Komal Gupta, a final year student at Arya College of Engineering & Information Technology. My career goal is to be an astute learner & best performer and to get a recognizable post in an IT company.
Aspiring Minds: What difficulties did you face while searching for a job and how did you overcame those difficulties?
Komal: As I m currently a student, so I didn't face that much difficulty for searching jobs. However, I had given 3 interviews before Mindtree in college and I was not able to figure-out where I was lacking or what should I improve. Then I took AMCAT test in college and got a complete employability feedback report.
Aspiring Minds: Tell us about your experience post giving the AMCAT test and how AMCAT helped you in getting the job at Mindtree?
Komal: After taking AMCAT, I got good score in the test especially in English section. I started getting more job opportunities and also what skills I need to improve. In Mindtree recruitment, I didn’t have to give aptitude test but there was a programming test which was much similar to the one I had given in AMCAT. So, it was easy for me and in interview my AMCAT score card played a vital role for my selection.
Aspiring Minds: Would you suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT? If yes, why
Komal: Yes, job seekers must go for AMCAT as it gives you better opportunities. AMCAT scores play a vital role in interviewer’s mindset. The AMCAT feedback report helps you to know your weak and strong areas and how to brush up your skills.
Aspiring Minds: Would you like to share some tips which can help other job seekers in getting a good job?
Komal: Don't only work hard but work in a right direction, make your concepts clear and be confident.
