Aspiring Minds: Tell us something about yourself and your career goals.

Akash: My name is Akash Sikroria, I have done B.Tech in Computer Science. My career goal is to secure a challenging position as a software professional, where I can utilize my technical skills for personal & organizational growth.

Aspiring Minds: What difficulties did you face while searching for a job and how did you overcame those difficulties?

Akash: Broadly a recruitment process consists of two stages. First is Aptitude round and second one is technical interview round. For every recruitment process I had to prepare for both. The second problem which I was facing was lack of placement opportunities. Therefore I decided to take AMCAT.

Aspiring Minds: Tell us about your experience post giving the AMCAT test and how AMCAT helped you in getting the job at MphasiS?

Akash: With AMCAT score I started to get many calls from IT companies and moreover I didn't have to go through first round, i.e. Aptitude. Candidates who take AMCAT, they don’t have to go through the aptitude round, companies take direct technical interview of them.

Aspiring Minds: Would you suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT? If yes, why

Akash: Yes, I would suggest every student to take AMCAT. If you are good in your skills and have a good AMCAT score, then AMCAT will fetch you many opportunities.

Aspiring Minds: Would you like to share some tips which can help other job seekers in getting a good job?

Akash:Job seekers need to get out of their comfort-zone, don't wait for on-campus placement drives. Try off-campus drives and take AMCAT too.
