Aspiring Minds: Tell us something about yourself and your career goals.

Mohit: Hello, I am Mohit Kumar Meena. I am an engineering student and will be graduating by June 2015. My career goal is to get a job in a reputed organization just as I got in Mindtree.

Aspiring Minds: What difficulties did you face while searching for a job and how did you overcame those difficulties?

Mohit: Since I am still pursuing my engineering and so I had just started appearing in placement drives. But, the companies that were coming for placements in my college were not the big companies and none of the companies were paying more than 2.0 lakhs. So, I would say that getting placed in Mindtree is really a good start for my career. Thanks to AMCAT for sure.

Aspiring Minds: Tell us about your experience post giving the AMCAT test and how AMCAT helped you in getting the job at Mindtree?

Mohit: Before taking AMCAT, I was thinking that it’s of no use but I still appeared for AMCAT test. The result in the form of the detailed feedback report is wonderful. It helps you find out your weak points so as to work upon those points. And after the result, I started receiving mails from AMCAT regarding jobs matching my profile and suddenly one day I got a mail about getting shortlisted for Mindtree interview. The most amazing part of AMCAT is that you will be called directly for the interview and get spared from aptitude and GD rounds. I cleared the interview and made my way into Mindtree.. :)

Aspiring Minds: Would you suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT? If yes, why

Mohit: Yes, Of course, it’s my advice to all other job seekers to take AMCAT and, in fact, I have already suggested many of my friends to take AMCAT. 

Aspiring Minds: Would you like to share some tips which can help other job seekers in getting a good job?

Mohit: The tip is just seeing your weaker subjects by referring to AMCAT’s feedback report and start studying those subjects so as to improve your skills. All the best!!!
