Do you believe that the time is here and that opportunity is knocking at the door? Indeed, it is, if you’re a final year student at the Delhi University. The Delhi University Campus Placement Drive is about to begin.
Organised by the Central Placement Cell officer for the University, the drive will take place over for four days – January 17 and January 18 this week and January 30 and January 31, during the next one. The drive, aimed at getting final year university students prime opportunities with at least 10 big companies on the panel.
The Big Campus Placement preparations:
Preparations have been in full sway, with registrations for this mega campus placement drive on way since October. Big names expected include Amazon (who may hold a day of recruitments on their own – most likely on January 20).
British Telecom is also expected to be around, with at least 1000 vacancies, apart from Forex, Genpact and Azeem Premji Foundation.
Companies may offer salary packages worth Rs 3 lakh to Rs 8 lakh per annum.
There has already been a session for PhD students on December 19, 2016. Companies had come asking for students in Economics, Statistics and Operational Research and finalised five of them. Meanwhile, an earlier November campus placement drive, led to 50 candidates being shortlisted and selected for the position.
