Whether you have bagged the job or not. But you can save yourself from this anxiety by looking for the signs that might give you an answer to the pressing statement. Moreover, you should read between the lines and the interviewers’s body language.

So, here are a few signs that might scream selection.

Longer than the average time

Although the average amount of time depends upon the interviewer. However, if your interview is going over the average time, then you might have landed the job. Also, if the interviewer is uninterested, then they will simply ask a few basic questions and bid you goodbye.

Discussing the job role

This might be the most important because this might be the sign that you are seriously being considered for the position. The interviewer would never waste their time in discussing specifics of the job role if they are not considering.

Recruiter trying to sell you the job

Most of the time, when the recruiter is impressed with you and is seriously considering your candidature then, the interviewer might start pitching you the job. And, how you are the ideal candidate for the particular job profile and how it will help your career grow.
Moreover, the recruiter might also tell you all the perks that you will be entitled to if you join.

A few slips of ‘when’

Usually, when interviewing the hiring manager will say things like ‘if hired’ or ‘the ideal candidate’ or ‘the person in this position’.
But if the interviewer is seriously considering your candidature, then the interviewer might slip in a few ‘when’. It means that you have aced the interview and are on your way to bag this job opportunity.

Salary negotiation

The most prominent sign that you might have got the job is when they start talking about salary and incentives.
However, answer this question smartly because the recruiter wants to know what you think about skills and how much they are worth it. State a figure which is neither too low nor too high.
