Aspiring Minds: Tell us something about yourself and your career goals.

Deepak: Hi, My name is Deepak Shenoy. I am a final year B.E. student from Sai Vidya Institute of Technology. My career goal is to gain expertise and experience in the role of an engineer while contributing to the progress of the organization that I am associated with.

Aspiring Minds: What difficulties did you face while searching for a job and how did you overcome those difficulties?

Deepak: Number of companies visited my college, but I was not eligible for most of them due to my average academic scores. Thanks to AMCAT, I got an opportunity with a reputed company.

Aspiring Minds: Tell us about your experience post giving the AMCAT test and how AMCAT helped you in getting the job at a software MNC?

Deepak: Few weeks after taking AMCAT test I was shortlisted for a reputed MNC. I was good at aptitude and had the technical knowledge required succeeding in the IT field, so I cleared the interview with ease.

Aspiring Minds: Would you suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT? If yes, why

Deepak: Yes, I would definitely suggest job seekers to take AMCAT. The test is not too difficult and there are number of jobs one can apply for. AMCAT provides deserving candidates with the right job opportunities based on their skill sets and AMCAT score. Apart from engineering, AMCAT also offers job opportunities in other streams such as management and finance.

Aspiring Minds: Would you like to share some tips which can help other job seekers in getting a good job?

Deepak: It is important to be proficient in the basics of your subjects before attending an interview. Also apply for the job profile you really want.
