Well, meet Krishna Keshav from P E S college of Engineering and know how he managed to bag an opportunity with 42 Hertz Software India Pvt Ltd right after graduation.
Q: Tell us something about yourself and your career goals.
Hi, My name is Krishna Keshav. Currently, I am pursuing B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from PES College of Engineering. My short term goal is to start a career in a relevant industry and explore it as deep as possible. My long term goal is to be at the top managerial level at an MNC.
Q: What difficulties did you face while searching for a job and how did you overcome those difficulties?
Due to my academic and other personal reasons, I didn’t have good options in campus placements. However, on exploring a bit about off campus recruitments, I came to know about AMCAT through blogs, seniors, and many other websites which ultimately helped me in securing a job.
Q: How long did it take to get your 1st interview call after AMCAT?
Well, I received a mail saying that “your profile has been shortlisted based on your AMCAT scores”. In fact, there were many companies that shortlisted me. So, to sum up I would say about a month after taking AMCAT, I started getting mails regarding job opportunities.
Q: Tell us about your experience post giving the AMCAT test and how AMCAT helped you in getting the job at 42 Hertz Software India Pvt Ltd?
AMCAT is a test that judges the ability of the candidate towards the relevant industry. AMCAT also let you have many job opportunities and it further depends on a candidate how an individual performs in an interview.
Q: How many interview calls did you get after taking the AMCAT?
Around 8-10 mails till date.
Q: Would you suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT? If yes, why.
Yes, I would definitely suggest job seekers to take AMCAT as it bridges the gap between recruiter and the candidate. In fact, it helps the job seekers focus on their preparation rather than getting tensed about the job search.
Q: Would you like to share some tips which can help other job seekers in getting a good job?
My only suggestion would be to prepare thinking that “every opportunity you have is your last opportunity.” All the best!
