nds: Tell us something about yourself.
Akshay: I am pursuing Engineering in Computer Science from CMRIT Bangalore. I am very happy, got my first job in a reputed MNC through AMCAT.
Aspiring Minds: How did you got to know about AMCAT, when did you decide to appear for the same?
Akshay: I got to know about AMCAT from my seniors. Many of my seniors got job through AMCAT and as per their recommendation, I took AMCAT at my college one month back. As there are very less opportunities at this recession time and not many companies are coming for campus placements, I was actually worried about what will I do after my BE if I won’t get a job. Finally I decided to take AMCAT and got the job within a month after giving AMCAT.
Aspiring Minds: Tell us about your experience post giving the AMCAT test and how AMCAT helped you in getting the job at a reputed software MNC.
Akshay: I did well in AMCAT; the test was combination of easy, moderate and few difficult questions. I scored well. After giving AMCAT, I was 70% closer towards getting a job and went through many interviews in good MNC’s. Thanks to Aspiring Mind Team for helping me in getting my first job.
Aspiring Minds: Would you suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT? If yes, why.
Akshay: Yes, Definitely I will suggest all job seekers to take AMCAT. It will help you in getting job for sure. AMCAT is giving many other opportunities to my friends as well. Many of my seniors got placed through AMCAT. So it is highly recommended to take AMCAT test.
Aspiring Minds: Would you like to share some tips with the fellow AMCAT takers.
Akshay: I would tell them to focus on the AMCAT sections – English, Quant, Logical & Computer Programming. Try to improve your scores and AMCAT feedback report would help you do the same.
