Women Scientists Scheme (WOS-C)

Department of Science & Technology (DST) was established in May 1971, with the objective of promoting new areas of Science & Technology and to play the role of a nodal department for organising, coordinating and promoting S&T activities in the country. The Department has major responsibilities for specific projects and programmes. India is one of the top-ranking countries in the field of basic research. Indian Science has come to be regarded as one of the most powerful instruments of growth and development, especially in the emerging scenario and competitive economy.

Eligibility: MSc, BE/B.Tech

Qualification: Master of Science; Bachelors in Engineering/Technology or equivalent. Desirable: Proficient in handling computerized database, collection, collation, analysis and report preparation. Qualification with subject areas in Chemistry, Drugs, Food & Pharma, Computers & Information Technology, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation & Biomedical Engineering, Life sciences & Biotechnology, Mechanical, Production & Industrial Engineering will be preferred.
