Tentative date of Interview: will be communicated post registration window
-Installation of windows severs system tools & server applications.
-Configuring exchange server & maintenance of users / mailboxes / policies.
- Group policies & management.
-Installation & Patch management, software updates & hotfixes
-Monitor Windows servers, issues & concerns.
-Application installations, configurations, and day-to-day administration.
-Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
-Policy management / permissions in Microsoft Server 2003, 2008
-Backup, data retention & scheduling, RAID
Skills Set Required:
-In depth knowledge on Windows active directory 2003/2008.
-Networking concepts – knowledge on Firewall, Routers, Switches, Lease Line, Load balancing, Link balancing.
-Hands on experience on working with servers, desktops, printers etc.
-In depth knowledge on SMTP, SNMP, POP, FTP, SSL, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, telnet, DNS, RDP, TCP, ICMP, and UDP
-Experience of working on cloud based hosting solutions (email/backup) will be preferred
-Candidates with technical Certification will be preferred.
-Sound experience in windows server platforms and business applications.
-Knowledge of Windows NT would be added advantage.
-Experience in Windows Active Directory Services and IIS.
-Adequate knowledge in SQL and exchange server.
-Good understanding of Operating System and Networking Technologies
-Strong skills in troubleshooting security-related issues involving NTFS, IIS and Active Directory and SQL Server
-Customer handling experience on technical issue is desired
-Ability to work through ambiguity and independently when other resources are not available.
-Good English Communication Skills - Spoken and Written (including technical writing)
-Strong Trouble Shooting and problem solving skills
-Excellent customer Service skills and effective learning skills.
