Job Description:
-Use server-side technologies such as PHP to develop websites, web applications, and content management systems
-Use HTML/CSS/Javascript to develop visually stunning, user-driven websites, web applications, and content management systems
-Connect to third-party information using various API technologies
-Develop requirements and planning documentation
-Collaborate with designers and marketing to develop amazing products
-Process Automation/Improvement – Build software applications for web interfaces to automate tasks that are currently manual.
-Set up, manage and configure hosting environments
-Set up and maintain GIT and SVN repositories for active and archived projects
-Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code
-Maintain working knowledge of content management solutions / WordPress
-Build with a “mobile first” mentality
-Use Javascript (jQuery) to perform AJAX calls and integrate with back-end and third party systems
-Proactively perform cross-browser testing and optimizations
-Ongoing development of existing functionality on a wide range of internal web-based applications.
-Other duties as assigned.

Skill Set Required:
-Previous experience in coding with PHP/XHTML/JSON/CSS/MySQL/XML/XSLT/AJAX/JAVASCRIPT/LAMP
-Must be able to program using MVC frameworks, PHP and database driven applications
-Experience with concepts of Responsive Design
-Expert knowledge of WordPress
-Expert knowledge of client-side optimization techniques
-Functional knowledge of version control (GIT or SVN)
-Experience working with jQuery or other Javascript frameworks
-Experience with working on high traffic web sites
-Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming
-Solid understanding in configuring and monitoring Apache and MySQL
-Solid understanding of develop processes that involve the deployment of websites/apps
-Strong leadership and personal management skills
-Knowledge of website usability/ SEO/ SYMFONY/ CODEIGNITER/ KAHONA/ JSON/ Linux OS/ Web Services
-Experience working with healthcare clients and an understanding of data security and HIPAA
-Strong shell command-line and scripting skills
-Understanding of JS frameworks such as AngularJS, MeteorJS, Ember, or Node.js
