Job Description:

-Collaborate with project team to translate goals into solid design strategies

-Produce day-to-day design tasks as needed

-Managing team proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production

-Working with team, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales

-Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites

-Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size

-Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief

-Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required

-Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality

-Working with a wide range of media, including photography

-Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches;

-Working on layouts and art-working pages ready for print;

Skills Set Required:

-Must be proficient in Adobe CS platform workflow- Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office

-Good skills in graphic design, with an eye for typography, composition, layout, colour, and attention to detail.

-Have an appreciation for clean, simple, usable design.

-Ability to communicate design concepts to other members of the team

-Experience in design solutions for print and other marketing materials

-Experience in designing for social media and web design

-Exceptional creativity and innovation

-Excellent time management and organizational skills

-An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
