Job Description:
This is an opportunity for candidates who want to kick-start and progress in the sales
department of one of the established and top brands in north India.
We are looking for highly energetic and motivated candidates who will consistently work
towards exceeding sales goals.
Their main focus will be to track potential clients in the designated territory and capture work
across all our products and services of logistics.
Roles & Responsibilities of the candidate:
1. Building a robust business development function to track potential customers and focus on
meeting them to acquire business. This can be cold-calling, online research, mass mailing,
mass whatsapp marketing.
2. He will spend his time in meeting customers to understand the customers requirements
regarding logistics and provide the solutions across all our different products and services (
warehousing, road transport, last-mile, local logistics).
3. Generate new business, retain existing business, garner incremental business from existing
customers as well.
4. He will work towards meeting company sales/revenue targets for that territory.
5. Coordinate and support the sales team on lead sharing.
6. Remarketing in terms of sending quotations, follow ups on mails/phone-calls, rates
negotiations.
7. Share proper visits, lead information, status of leads on CRM.
8. Weekly meeting with Sales head.
9. Fortnightly marketing report discussions with the Sales Director.
Skill Set Required:
● skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix
organization.
● Self-motivated and driven by targets.
● Strong communication skills - including both verbal and written.
● The ability to influence and negotiate with others.
● Compulsory Graduation in Marketing.
● Incase of specialization in supply chain and logistics that candidate will be
preferred.
● Good knowledge of marketing skills and understanding sales funnel and
customer behavior.
● Compulsory knowledge of Googlesheets/forms/documents.
● Basic presentation skills incase of presenting company's services/products to clients
