Salary: 2 to 3.6 Lakhs per annum( depending upon the candidate’s skills)

Candidates will be responsible for following :
-A technical writer with a strong technical background to write manuals for various products.
-In this position, you will Plan, research, write, illustrate, and edit existing or new product manuals.
-Work very closely with Development, Quality Assurance, Support, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure technical accuracy in the manuals.
-Read and analyse functional specifications and other Engineering-authored technical documents to interpret overall functionality and product intricacies.
-Understand technical concepts, customer requirements and translate that information in documents.
-Write content for installation guides, user guides, reference guides, Help systems, and Readme files.
-Research and transform complex technical concepts, specifications, and procedures into user-oriented information for non-technical and technical audiences.
-Work with software development team to improve the UI and messages.
-Publish user documentation in a variety of formats, such as HTML Help and browser-based Help, compile and test online help.
-Work extensively on the product to gain an understanding of the technical details and functioning.
-Handle multiple products and manuals simultaneously; should be able to manage time and tasks effectively.
-Adapt to changing requirements and deal with aggressive schedules. - Work independently through all stages of the Document Development Life Cycle (DDLC).
-Good experience in Microsoft Office, Screen capture and editing tool, such as SnagIt.
-Experience with IT systems and environments.
-Must be familiar with Technical Documentation processes and procedures.
-Familiarity with Word, Acrobat, PDF Converter Professional, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, HTML editor and/or other tools as required.
-Must have some experience interviewing Subject Matter Experts and converting that information into clear and concise user documentation.
-Should have experience with client-server applications.
-Must be able to learn new software and technologies quickly.
-Must have work experience in a software development environment.
-Proven ability to work and learn independently and participate in a cross-department, cross-function team.
-Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills
