Job Description:
- Read written materials such as technical, functional & process documents.
- Market research documents.
- Check the source document for technical terms and terminology and provide accurate meaning and pronunciation key so that it remains consistent throughout translated document.
- Provide reference materials so that the translation and review work is made easier.
- Compile terminology and information to be used for the specific client, including technical terms such as those for medical material and maintain the terminology list and create TM so that it can be reused.
- Discuss about the document with Project Management and determine specific instructions to be implemented
- Identify and resolve conflicts related to the meanings of words, concepts or practices.
- Compile information about the content and context of information to be translated, as well as details of the clients for whom translation is being performed so that this can be used to prepare style guides for the client.
