Job Description:
- Implementation of new applications as per project requirement.
- Creation and maintaining databases on SQL Server 2012, 2008 and 2005.
- Users and rights management in SQL.
- Perform Back-ups, Restores, Scheduling and Maintenance for databases.
- Troubleshooting Application/database related issues.
- Server monitoring and purging as well as logs shrinking of database at regular intervals.
- Understanding new requirements in the system at application/database level from different business units.
- Monitoring SQL Server logs.
- Application/Database Patch Deployment on UAT & production server.
- Implementation of Database Maintenance plans for automation of SQL server.
- Implementing Disaster Recovery by using Log shipping.
- Coordinating with System Analyst for the Technical Queries & Changes in the System.
- Coordinating with Vendors for the Technical Queries & Changes in the System.
- Coordinating between Project Manager & End Users for different projects.
- Managing three different type of environment i.e. Live, DR and Test.
- Maintaining calls tracker and incidents and maintaining change management sheet.
- Documenting technical issues within support incidents.
- Follows customer issues through to completion to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction have been achieved.
- Providing reports by querying to backend database as per requirement.
- SSIS Knowledge for creating Package and automate process as per the requirement.
- To work as webserver admin (Like IIS jboss etc.)
