Job Description:

- Attending scheduled training delivered by the registered training organisation

- Completing assignments and other assessment tasks set by the registered training organisation

- Accepting instruction and training in the vocation given by the employer or by a workplace supervisor

- May assist in requirements capture under supervision

- Develops technical knowledge and awareness of those technical areas in which requested to code.

- Accurately records own time and accurately reports progresson own work.

- Complies with all confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensures security of information at all times.

Other Capabilities:

- Familiar with a limited number of programming languages and implementation environments.

- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, and the relevance of different tools at different stages of the development lifecycle.

- Aware of basic design principles, and able to understand designs.

- Good understanding of coding and data structure principles, and application of coding standards.

- Good understanding of unit testing principles, including the creation of unit test harnesses.

- Capable of working with limited supervision.
