Job Description:
- Creating test scenarios, test scripts, preparing test data, executing test scripts and reporting defects and reporting results to the Team Lead.
- Understand and analyze Business, Functional, Technical and UI (User Interface) requirements of the project/release.
- Create Test Scenarios, Test Conditions & Expected results and Test Cases.
- Run and maintain automated Test Scripts. (Applicable only if automation is planned for the project/release)
- Create Required Test Data and maintain Common Test Data sheet of the Project/release.
- Create Test Deliverables as per Testing Standards followed by the company or project/release.
- Execute Test Scripts and document test results.
- Log defects and verify defect fixes.
- Inform Test Lead on any issues that could potentially impact Quality, schedule or budget of the Project/release.
- Maintain a repository of system test plans.
- Ensure all work meets customer expectations and departmental quality standards
- Maintain an active knowledge of software testing tools, standards and processes.
