About the Company:
Acuner is a technology company. We design and build products which improve quality of life. All of our products are designed and developed in house, from the initial sketch to finished product.

Our company is seeking to hire a Software Developer to help with the development of our current Home and Industrial automation projects. Your duties will primarily revolve around building software for new products, as well as modifying existing software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces. You will also be involved in working with vendors or departments on technical issues including software, hardware and maintenance.

Course Specialization:B. Tech

Desired Experience: 0 - 3 years

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop new software for Home and Industrial automation projects.
  • Responsible for Prototyping, modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
  • Define system testing and validation procedures.
  • Work with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
  • Support installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system at customer location.
  • Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications requirements.
  • Preparing documentation on product technical specifications, user manuals, design documents etc.

 

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, computer science or related degree.
  • Proficient in C and C++
  • Should know embedded programming
  • Should have hands on experience with at least one microprocessor and simple protocols
  • Minimum electronic hardware knowledge is a must
  • Logical thinking skill is a must
  • Should be able to understand electronic component datasheets and schematic
  • Should have worked on at least one full life cycle development project
  • Get things done attitude is required
  • Programming Renesas RL78 family microcontrollers would be an added advantage
