Arbor Financial Systems (a UK based MNC) provides Order and Portfolio Management Software for hedge funds across Europe and US. We are in a fast growing business with a great pipeline of business developing and delivering financial software for hedge funds to clients/brokers. We have offices in Chandigarh/Mohali, London and US and potentially looking to spread our operations in Hong Kong.

We are a fast growing MNC with many opportunities to offer and right now we are looking for a strong, intelligent, committed, enthusiastic Software Developer to work on complex financial projects to join is immediately. Arbor follows Agile methodologies and our system has a monthly release cycle to ensure our product is as up to date as possible.

Job Description:

You need to be interested in making a long term career commitment as we will be doing the same. We are not an outsourcing company and since 2007 have been building a fantastic Trading and Portfolio management system for Hedge funds. This is a complex platform using the latest technology and we are continually improving and expanding the system. You will be given a specific area to focus on, with the responsibility of owning it. As your knowledge increases as will your responsibility. You will need to be an excellent communicator dealing with all members of the organization and possibly clients too (mainly Europe and US).

Apart from improving the system functionality, you will become increasingly involved in refining and improving the technology and methodologies used in Arbor. Whether this be in build, design, workflow (agile etc) or Research and Development into new technologies to help us continually plan our future.

We don’t plan to sit still with our product and you will be a key part in making that happen.

The application process will require you to take an aptitude test to assess your intellect and a shift pattern will be worked.

SKILL SET REQUIRED:

-Ability to work in Windows and Web application.

-Programming experience on the following: C#, WPF, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, MVVM, HTML5, JavaScript, Web API and SQL.

-Having good understanding of OOPS concepts and n-tier application development

-Good knowledge of SDLC phases (especially AGILE methodology) and quality process.

-Having strong analytical, problem solving and presentation skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
