Skills:
•Strong problem solving and analytical skills
•Strong background in computer architecture
•Familiarity with modern microprocessor internals
•Programming with C/ C++ and scripting languages
•Experience with performance profiling tools
•Experience with performance benchmarks
•Relevant internship/ project experience is a huge plus Job Function: Design

Roles and Responsibilities:
In this role you will analyze the performance of state of the art workloads and industry standard benchmarks (covering areas like cloud computing, visual computing) on AMD hardware. You will identify performance bottlenecks in current designs, and assist with projecting and optimizing performance of future designs. You will also conduct architectural trade off studies at the system level, and help develop new techniques to aid fast and accurate performance analysis for these workloads. AS part of this role you interact closely with benchmarking teams, power analysis teams, SoC architects, IP architects, SW optimization teams and silicon bring up teams.
