ESIC Model Hospital Chandigarh is a unit of Employees State Insurance Corporation, a statutory body established under Employees State Insurance Act1948. The Hospital was inaugrated on 12-10-2002. By late Doctor Sahib Singh Verma hon'ble Minister or labour, Govt. of India. Presently it is 50 bedded Hospital. Its expansion to 100 bedded Hospital is in process. The Hospital caters to the medical attendance of about 2.70 lacs beneficiaries residing in and around Chandigarh.

Eligibility: Any Post Graduate, Diploma
Qualification: PG Degree, Diploma or DNB in concerned Specialty from recognized University registered with Medical Council of India, State Medical Council or Delhi Medical Council. If such candidates are not available, candidates without PG Qualification having at least 2 years experience out of which having worked for at least 1 year as Junior Resident in concerned Specialty in a Govt. Hospital shall be considered.
How to apply
Walk-in-interview to be held in this Hospital on 01/07/2015 between 10:00 AM & 3:00 P.M. Candidate should bring with them original testimonials of academic qualifications,caste and experience and also one set of attested testimonials with one passport size photograph and report to Administration Branch of the hospital at 9.30 Am. sharp. At the time of joining selected contractual candidates will have to sign an " Agreement " as per ESIC norms on non -judiciary stamp paper of Rs.100/-
