Job Descriptions :
-To undertake and conduct research regarding world events, global updates, news stories, and other relevant information that may affect and impact the client’s global supply chains and overall market base.
-Monitors and conducts research on world events based on defined sources and processes for intensive live data collection
-Helps inform financial and corporate decisions made by the client, collecting and analyzing information valuable to the business
-Plugs world events that would impact global supply chains for customers into the client’s monitoring software in real time
-Reports directly to a manager or supervisor, who will provide the research and data collection processes, training, and overall management
-Provides data and Media Research analysis to identify and understand trends by industry to determine where the opportunities are or the markets with the most potential
-Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills and utilizes them to relay concise and accurate information and data to team members in a global setting
-Assesses future trends based on established data and investigations on market activity
-Understands the articulated and unarticulated needs of customers, lost customers, and potential customers including intent to purchase and net promoter metrics
-Social Media Research, Media Research, World Events Monitoring, Data Analysis, Analytic and Critical Thinking, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SPSS/SAS, CRMs
-Effective communication, with skills in listening, presenting, and clearly expressing ideas in a written and oral format
-Time management and organization, setting priorities and tasks in a clear and orderly manner
-Meets objectives on time, and is results driven, balancing cost and quality and is easily measured as it is entirely performance based
-General knowledge of business practices, and the industry in which they work
