Profile Offered: Project Engineer

Job location: Pune

Course Specialization: Any Graduate in Any Specialization

Desired Experience: 0 - 2 years

Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform a thorough requirement analysis by discussing the project vis - - vis expected outcome with Team Leader and / customer.
Decide upon a modeling approach basis the objectives of the flow model and key fluid dynamic issues.
Assess possible physical & geometrical simplifications, constraints or resources to provide input for the grid generation and plan for possible numerical experiments.
Geometry clean - up by using CAD software SpaceClaim, and create mesh using Trelis or Ansys Meshing Platform etc.
Choosing the appropriate mesh depending on geometric complexity, flow field and cell / elements supported by the solver.
Assessing the quality of the mesh on the basis of skewness, etc.
Establish the Boundary and Initial Conditions.
Establish the simulation strategy, simulation matrix and perform & monitor the simulation for completions.
Establish the Input Parameters and create input files and give appropriate inputs to the solver and set the solution parameters.
Identify and execute an appropriate CFD code mainly Fluent and document the same to assist the users in running the code or in the development of new models or numerical methods.
Make comparisons of the results from analytic, computational or experimental studies to establish the validity of the computed result.
Repeat the process to examine sensitivities with respect to dimensionality, boundary conditions, grid topology etc.
Conducting verification of codes and verification of calculations and establish consistency checks.
Documenting the findings of an analysis involves describing each of these steps in the process so that the relevant stakeholders can view and understand.
Closely work with a client (Fortune 500 company).
