Job Description and Skill Set Required:

- As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for building things from the ground-up as well as iterating on the existing product. 
- We\\\'re passionate about developing a scalable, well-designed software and are looking for like-minded folks. We are looking for engineers who enjoy solving real world backend problems.
- On a normal day you could be working on end to end delivery of a product feature OR getting your head around a critical issue OR you might even spend your day talking to our players/clients and understand their problems.

Core Responsibilities

- Architect for scale - We are doing millions of transactions each month and have plans to scale 10x in the next 12-18 months.
- Choose the right building blocks which accelerates the SquadRun vision. Understand business vision and architect the product around the same.
- Architect reliable data pipelines that are simple to operate.
- Prototype - Rapidly prototype & validate product hypothesis.
- Design & Build: Brew clean & simple code which is easily extensible.
- Refactor existing code when things get a little too hairy. 
- Take active part in code reviews and design reviews.
- Algorithms - Matching crowd to right problems, Accuracy of crowd-work, automation layer etc.
- Hiring - You will actively take part in building the Squad :)
- Current Stack - Django/Python, Postgresql, RabbitMQ, Redis, AngularJS, AWS EC2/RDS/Lambda/Elasticache/S3 etc.
