Job Responsibilities:
- Develop features in Magento based e-commerce portals
- Integration of Magento portals with external systems.
- Develop Magento extensions.
- Diagnose and fix bugs in Magento websites.
- Customize Magento functionalities.
- Optimize speed of Magento by identifying and fixing bottlenecks.

Desired Skills:
- Proficient in Object Oriented PHP, MVC, Javascript, jQuery, SQL, HTML and CSS
- Extensive experience in any one of the PHP frameworks such as Codeigniter, Cakephp, Laravel, Zend, Symphony etc.
- Deep understanding of the MVC architecture and data flow.
- Solid experience in large scale ecommerce website development or other web applications like social networking application developed is required.
- Strong knowledge in Database Design and ORM concepts.
- Ability to write structured modular optimized code is a MUST.
- Strong skills with Social media API integrations, Payment gateway API integrations, API development is desired.
- Experience in Magento is a strong advantage
- Experience in e-commerce development is an added advantage.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Good knowledge in GIT concepts and operations.
- Knows how to consume 3rd party RESTful services.
- Good oral and written communication skills is an advantage.
