Job Description: 

The Vignette Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting Commercial Content Management / portal solutions.

The person will be responsible for design, development, maintenance and enhancements to the portal & CMS based applications as well as conducting analysis to identify revisions and potential modifications in order to streamline or automate existing business information infrastructure/processes.

Strong experience with V7 preferably OpenText WEM 8.1 platform (VCM, DSM, VAP, DPM, VBIS, Collaboration).

Skills Required: 

Experience extending the VCM (custom widgets, CCE Widgets, Property Sheets, Event Listeners, Program Task etc).

Experience with Content Management (CMA) and Content Delivery (CDA) APIs.

Experience creating and configuring workflows within VCM.

Experience creating VAP Portlet Types and writing custom portlets using JSR-168 or Portal Bean.

Experience with DPM (Dynamic Portal Module) & DSM (Dynamic Site Module).

Familiar with Vignette's integration of Apache Solr.

Familiar with V7 Extensions (CCE, Localization, URLMapper, vmcext, etc).

Vignette collaboration server & Vignette Business Integration Studio.

Working knowledge of OpenText WEM 8.x.

Understanding of Enterprise Search Solutions like Autonomy, Apache Solr.

Experience with OpenText Media Management.

Interview Process: Telephonic and Skype.
