Job Description:
- The Magento/PHP Developer designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications, and components. Supports and/or installs software applications and components.
- The Magento Developer performs the functions of the job utilizing industry standards, best practices, version control, and code documentation.
- Should be capable to developing Magento custom module, templates, customization/custom solutions and handling Magento upgrades
Duties also include:
-Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to PHP 5.x, Zend Framework (MVC), OOP, Apache, MySql, Javascript, CSS, HTML
- Create and deliver data-driven reports
- Design, code and test web and other software applications
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
- Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
- Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
- Create technical specifications and test requirements
- Consult closely with management and occasionally agency staff related to projects and tasks
- Implement new software with an understanding of industry standard best practices
Skills Required:
- Good knowledge ofMagento, PHP 5.x
- Working knowledge in Zend Framework (MVC)&advanced understanding of OOP
- MySql/PhpMyAdmin, SQL Queries, SOAP/XML/JSON/REST
