Profile Offered:Junior QA Automation Engineer

Job location: Bangalore

Course Specialization:BE/Btech (CS/IT),B.Sc (CS/IT)

Desired Experience: 1-4 Years

Salary: 1.5 LPA- 4.5 LPA

Roles and responsibilities:

 

  • Design, plan and control test tasks in complex software development projects
  • Perform Module, Integration and System Test
  • Plan, develop and execute automated regression tests
  • Plan and execute load and performance tests
  • Document and publish the test results
  • Coordinate the required actions (bug fixing) with the corresponding team members
  • Develop and evolve the quality assurance tools and processes

 

Must Have Tech Skills:

 

  • Good knowledge on Selenium or any other testing automation tool
  • Basic Knowledge of .NET, C#, ASP, JS, etc
  • Basic SQL knowledge

 

Main criteria:

 

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • 1+ years of hands-on Software Development experience
  • Working experience of test automation, test management and bug tracking tools and processes
  • Good communication skills and client oriented attitude
  • Organized and detail oriented person
  • Problem solving skills, analytical mind and positive attitude
  • Results oriented and focused on meeting deliverable timelines
  • Familiarity with extreme programming practices, Agile methodology, test-driven development, design driven development

 

Secondary criteria:

 

  • Very good communication skills
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to establish priorities
  • Team-work and willingness to listen to others
  • Eagerness to learn new ideas, concepts and technologies
