Job Description:

DataTag Web Services is looking for ambitious Website Developers to work on various eCommerce and dynamic website projects, with a passion for engineering and bringing concepts to life. Web Developer works under Team Leader & is responsible for all aspects of web application administration and operations from the design, layout and coding of a website to content management. Involved in all the technical & graphical aspects for the development of web based applications, how the site works and how it looks.

DWS is currently seeking a Joomla Developer to work on the development and enhancements of several Joomla web sites across.

Job Responsibilities:

- Collaborate and interface with Marketing Leads and/or Product Owners to help understand and size User Stories

- Develop and enhance Joomla/PHP web sites (actual coding)

- Work with Creative Development to get desired UI updates deployed on live site

- Work on selected critical defects or Production issues

Skill Set Required:

- Bachelors Degree in a software development technology discipline required

- At least 2-3 years of web programming with PHP/MySQL and Joomla

- Advanced knowledge working with Joomla and Zend frameworks

- Insight into proper setup and configuration of the Apache web server

- Proficient in Unix/Linux environment.

- At least 2 years experience working with front-end technologies ie Javascript, HTML, CSS

- Skilled at using RESTful api’s, JSON, and XML


Education:

B.Sc., B.Tech/B.E.
