Job Description:

- Design, develop and test applications for the Java/Javascript platform Work data sources and APIs such as REST APIs

- Ability to write production quality code and to work from and maintain existing code-base

- Expert level knowledge in Core Java with OOPS concepts

- Troubleshoot, optimize and performance tune

- Innovate and brainstorm new features

- Being able to manage small team with good time management skills.

Skills Required:

- Most recent projects or job must be Javascript-based development

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field (or equivalent education/experience)

- Strong OO design and development experience

- Experience with Javascript Frameworks

- Demonstrated experience in Java development and RESTFUL API’s

- Solid understanding of object oriented (OOD / OOP), Agile, and incremental development methodologies

- Ability to work with data from outside APIs

- Ability to understand and parse XML, JSON and serialized data

- Experience with embedded relational databases

- Understanding of multi-threaded interface design

- Should be self-driven and operate independently with little guidance

- Experience in Phonegap, Hybrid mobile application development.

- Experience in IBM Websphere, IBM Work light and IBM Cast Iron

- Experience with multiple mobile platforms

- Experience with profiling, tuning, and optimizing Java applications

- Experience with third-party libraries and frameworks

- Experience rooting devices or building the platform from source
