Preferred to have one or more Certifications:

-Microsoft Certified Professional with current Microsoft Technologies
-Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist with SQL 2008/2012/2014.
-Citrix certification
-VMWare certification
-ITIL V3
-Security certifications (Any)

Knowledge requirements Essential:

-Proficient knowledge in Installing and Administration of MS Windows 2003/2008/2012 Server
-Familiar with Installation/Administration of IIS 6.0/7.0
-Familiar with DNS concepts
-Familiar with Networking - TCP/IP
-Familiar with Microsoft Exchange Server
-Desired: (At least 2 of the following)
-Familiar with Citrix XenApp / Windows Terminal Server
-Familiar with Installation/Administration of SQL Server 2005/2008/2012
-Familiar with Installing/Administration of VMware
-Knowledge of SQL programming - Preferred

Functional experience and requirements Essential:

-Extensive knowledge of File and Printer Sharing and Active Directory
-User Account Creation/Modification and Deletions
-Basic server troubleshooting skills using event logs and trace files
-Network troubleshooting and diagnostics
-Usage of monitoring and performance analysis tools
-Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
