Job Description:
Smart Joules' primary work is to delivery energy cost reductions to commercial buildings such as Hospitals and Hotels. In this role, we are looking for an individual who can lead all our project-relate activities end-to-end once we have signed a project, and ideally, who can lead more than one project at a time with minimum supervision.
- Energy Audits: Quickly and effectively measure efficiency of energy systems and equipment installed in our customer sites.
- Engineering Solutions for energy efficiency improvements, including technical and operational measures across different systems and equipment. Main focus will be on central HVAC systems.
- Project Execution: All necessary activities including project planning and execution to deliver high quality energy efficiency projects in a time and cost-efficient manner.
- Testing, Reporting and Continuous Improvement: Analyzing promising new technologies, measuring performance of implemented technologies and practices, continuously innovating.
- Building Management System: Configuring, testing and continuously improving Smart Joules' self-developed BMS (DeJoule) to deliver the highest possible energy savings and reliability to our clients.
- Others: All other activities required from time to time in order to develop Smart Joules as India's leading energy efficiency company.
Skills:
- Min. 3 years of experience in energy auditing, and designing and implementing energy cost reduction projects in commercial buildings (practical knowledge is a must; we are not looking for general energy auditors);
- Strong practical knowledge of major energy consuming systems (central HVAC systems, hot water, steam, pumping and compression) and equipment (chillers, pumps, heat pumps, drives, boilers, etc.), and how operations affect energy performance;
- Bachelor's Degree or higher;
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word;
- BEE Certified Energy Auditor / CMVP certificate is a plus.
