Job Description:

- Experience of large scale successful implementations of Elasticsearch

- Good understanding of machine learning (ML) concepts

- Some experience in at least one web programming language (Python, Ruby or PHP)

- Practical experience integrating with social APIs (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

- Working experience with Linux servers, especially in the cloud (AWS or Rackspace Cloud)

- Understanding of analytics systems

- A basic understanding of natural language processing (NLP)

- Experience in Data Modelling in Elasticsearch

- Experience in Search Relevancy and Ranking

- Experience in setting up nodes on cloud

- Clear understanding of REST architectures and state-less design

- Experience in scaling data, both relational (Postgres) and NoSQL (Redis, Elasticsearch)

Skill Set Required:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- A passion for high quality systems and software

- An ability to innovate "simply" in the face of overwhelming complexity

- A willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies
