Power Grid, the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of the country, is engaged in power transmission business with the mandate for planning, co-ordination, supervision and control over complete inter-State transmission system. POWERGRID, as on July 2009, owns and operates about 71,600 ckt kms of transmission lines at 800/765 kV, 400 kV, 220 kV & 132 kV EHVAC & +500 kV HVDC levels and 122 sub-stations with transformation capacity of about 81,200 MVA.

Eligibility Criteria : Diploma Trainee / Jr. Supervisor Trainee
Service Agreement: Candidates selected as Junior Supervisor Trainee (HR) and Diploma Trainee shall undergo training for a period of one year. They will be required to execute a Service Agreement Bond of amount Rs. 50,000/- for General/ OBC(NCL) candidates and Rs. 25,000/- for SC/ST/ PwD candidates to successfully complete the training period and thereafter serve the organization for at least three years.
Qualification: Diploma in Electronics & Communications Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks.
Two years full time Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ MBA in Human Resource/ Personnel Management / Industrial Relation/ MSW or equivalent from recognized Institute with not less than 55% marks.
