Job Description:
-Design and development of Database and Queries, enhancement and bug fixes as per company’s product requirements.
-Database documentation and version control.
-Knowledge management and learning activities as per the needs of the business.
-Support operations on a need basis. This includes managing infrastructure, support management activities and other to day to day activities as needed by a small office.
-Core Technology skills – DBMS Schema Design, SQL Scripts, Integration with J2EE applications using Hibernate or JDBC, Unix Shell Scripting, MySQL, MySQL Workbench, Reports, Performance Tuning, Data Security and Compliance Standards.
-Test tools like Junit/GMock/GTest.
-Application Architecture – Support technology Selections, Design Patterns, Understanding of n-tier applications (web and server side), Application Integration, Performance Engineering, Access Control.
-Understanding of versioning and change control software – SVN, Familiar with Agile/SCRUM way of working.
-Understanding of software architecture for Java based Web and Mobile applications.
-Understanding of SDLC (software development life cycle) – Product Requirement Capture, Design, Development and Testing, Deployment. Technical documentation.
-Nice to have - Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JBOSS, Apache/Tomcat, AWS Deployments, SOLR, UML, Eclipse IDE.
