Job Description:

-Conducting telephone and in person research within a target market to develop conference agenda

-Analyzing research and using critical thinking to develop commercial conference programs that meet the stated needs of the market

-Tele-research program content and new conference ideas

-Providing the sponsorship department with strategic information on potential sponsorship opportunities. Providing ongoing support to sponsorship as required.

-Identifying, inviting and confirming appropriate speakers for conferences

-Provide up to date and useable speaker lists and files for event management to follow up

-Meeting established deadlines

-Establishing and maintaining relationships with key professionals,industry leaders,senior executives and media within relevant vertical market

-Servicing customers in a professional, service-oriented manner during execution of daily work and onsite at conferences

-Attending and overseeing conferences, including providing opening introduction,speaker assistance and support

-Working with and supporting a cross-functional team on an ongoing basis to ensure successful marketing and sponsorship of conferences.

-For repeat conferences execute and adapt the event strategy from market research to target delegate growth and increase content quality

-Manage and keep within program budget

-Maintain high productivity level at a production rate of minimum 2-3 events per month.

-High level of conference execution in all aspects of the production job

-Engage in the relevant social media

-Prepare all necessary briefs, conference agenda and other forms

-Write invitation letters for the conferences

-Perform any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility

-Conceptual ability to rapidly develop competent knowledge on diverse topics

-Ability to conduct in-depth research via telephone, in person and using print and electronic media

-Excellent networking and information gathering abilities
