Roles and Responsibilites:
Check all available inputs in the drawings and documents for a particular project.
Identify missing inputs then either make prudent assumptions or ask client to provide those inputs.
Planning and execution of CFD Projects for engineering phenomenon verification and validation.
Providing design recommendations and directions in the early stages of product/process design.
Responsibility of pre - processing, solving and post - processing of numerical simulations.
Conducting tests like grid independence, time step size determination, UDF coding etc. to ensure simulation is accurate and optimized.
Verifying that simulations follow basic laws of physics.
Doing research to understand simulation methodology for new kind of projects in the company.
CFD analysis with the help of various CFD Tools/Software.
Performing CFD analysis associated with Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer & Mass Transfer.
Preparation of project report.
Peer review of projects done by other colleagues.
Co-ordinate with other colleagues for execution of fluid mechanics related projects.
Upload relevant project files in the company's common server during and after completion of project.
Learn, understand and apply company's engineering processes and practices.
Produce and utilize engineering calculations and operate computer programs to support design analysis and engineering efforts including spreadsheets and Internet Resources.
Apply manufacturing quality and considerations while generating solutions.
Participate in collaboration with other verticals at Mecharts to envision and develop design packages/design processes jointly.
