Job Description and Skills Required:

- Should have experience with the some major big data solutions like Hadoop, Spark,Map Reduce, Hive, HBase, MongoDB, Cassandra.

- Knowledge on Impala, Oozie, Mahout, Flume, ZooKeeper and/or Sqoop.

- Understanding of Java/J2EE, Linux, \\\"R\\\".

- Experience on cloud infrastructure solutions like Amazon Web Services or Elastic Map Reduce.

- Should understand and have experience with data security and privacy concerns that could arise and that should be taken care of from the start.

- Benchmark systems, analyse system bottlenecks and propose solutions to eliminate them;

- Clearly articulate pros and cons of various technologies and platforms;

- Should be able to work in a fast-paced agile development environment.

- Possess a productivity centric attitude and strong work ethic when alone and in a team environment

- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate comprehensively to various technical level competency including customers.
