Job Description & Skill Set Required:
-Handle entire process of goal-based investment management from client on-boarding to terminations.
-Handle client queries through chat/email/social about the investment process and portfolio setups.
-Experience in Fund Accounting or Trade Operations for a small to medium fund entity or back-end operations of such fund is must.
-Update FAQ documentation.
-Should be able to manage tasks in a deadline and SLA driven environment.
-Client Management: On-boarding, KYC, Portfolio Setup, Payments, Portfolio Switches, Terminations.
-Trade Operations: Orders, Settlements, Rebalancing, Exceptions Processing, Custody, Reporting.
-Partner Management: Handle communications and queries from and to different partners and vendors for running operations.
-Housekeeping: Run day-end processes and manual checks to ensure that the system is clean and records are updated.
-Integrations: Handle data movements between different front-end, OMS and order execution systems to keep them in sync.
-Product: Work with product and engineering in defining the path forward in terms of process workflows and operations requirements.
-Hiring: Some experience in hiring and scaling teams will be a plus.
-Training and Documentation: Build out training material for new hires and be able to handle training team members into different functions.
-Strong knowledge or prior exposure to a Fund or Trade Operations environment.
-Someone who can handle the entire chain of middle and back-office functions in a fund management unit.
-Naturally good with numbers and someone with a penchant for financial investments like Mutual Funds, ETFs, Futures and Options.
-Exposure to training and building documentation and flowcharts to train the rest of the team on processes.
-Prior exposure to Order Management Systems, Custody Operations and Front-end functions is a plus.
-Good exposure to MS office tools including Excel and strong presentation skills.
