About the company

Magic Pin is a start-up by ex-IIT and ex-IIM graduates with extensive experience in top tier consulting firms, start-ups and marquee VC firms (http://magicpin.in/about-us/). We are building a platform which enables local merchants to promote themselves and thus get discovered by their customers. It aims at the $500B Indian local retail market. It is re-imagining how local retail should happen in the mobile first world we all live in.

In just 6 months we have acquired 1.5 L customers, expanded in 3 cities and covered more than 50,000 merchants.

Profile:  Associate - Sales

Salary: INR 2.04 – 2.45 LPA (plus incentives reimbursements)

Probation / Training Period: 2 months

Job Location: Gurgaon

Courses Required: Any graduate

Batch: 2015/2016

Desired experience: Fresher

Tentative Date of Interview: Will be communicated post registration window is closed

Tentative date of joining:  Immediate

Job Description:

- Perform sales activities across SME accounts (Food, Fashion, Beauty etc) and build business case for why they should partner with Magicpin

- Build long term relationships with the accounts and make Magicpin their preferred partner for any marketing and sales campaign

- Drive incremental sales and upsell other products from Magicpin

Role requirements:

- Comfort with field work – this job requires being on the field for 6 days in a week

- Excellent analytical skills and ability to think on the spot is necessary

- Excellent communication skills (English and Hindi), can think on the spot

- High patience levels and willing to persevere in face of odds and not give up

- Curious and ability to learn quickly
