Job Description :
Responsibilities:
- Expertise in tuning databases in production environments.
- Work closely with developers on database choice, schema design, and query tuning.
- Automate away tedious repetitive tasks.

Skill set required:
- Deep understanding of MySQL.
- Solid systems administration and automation skills.
- SQL Development - Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints).
- Strong command of SQL scripting for MySQL. Must have knowledge of shell scripting and Linux OS.
- Ability to collaborate and share ideas with other teams about DB techniques for high end operations.
- Should have understanding of database internals/debugging/tuning experience.
- Experience at a large-scale DB Structure on internet sites is mandatory.
- Develop views, procedures for use in repeatable end user reports, complex data processing, ad-hoc requests, trouble shoot and optimize existing SQL Code.
- Familiarity of NoSQL data stores.
- Hands on experience in replication and clustering environments.
- Preferred: Male candidates.
