Profile Offered: Assistant Manager Underwriting

Job Location: Gurgaon

Course Specialization: Any Graduate in Any Specialization, Any Postgraduate in Any Specialization,Any Doctorate in Any Specialization,

Desired Experience: 0 - 5 years

Roles and Responsibilites:
Price negotiation : Underwriters needs to negotiate with various insurers to source best prices for the required policy.
Preparing analysis: Underwriter need to prepare quote sheet where need to analyse different prices & share with the Business Development team.
Policy underwriting: Work with the business development team to understand risk exposure of a client and provide the best solution according to the client's requirement . Underwriters will then collaborate with various insurers to source a carrier and negotiate prices.
Policy placement : Once the payment is done, Underwriter need to get the policy placed with the respective insurer.
Subject Expert: Good knowledge of the broker distribution channel and various tools utilized by the broker and the process of interaction between insurer and broker.
Others: Will be responsible for tracking industry trends and competition activity; and generation of new processing ideas.


Education:

B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., B.Tech/B.E., BIM, BMM, BMS, M.A., M.Com.(Hons.), M.Des, M.Sc., M.Sc.(Hons.), M.Tech./M.E., MBA, MBE
